Computerised colour matching, dual Rowley spray booths, and a hand-finished result to the standard we would expect on our own cars.

Our Story
Stanways has been a respected name in Lytham St Annes for over 50 years. When the original dealership closed in 2017, we seized the opportunity to carry that legacy forward, focusing entirely on what we do best.
In November 2023, with one month’s notice to vacate our premises, the team refused to be beaten. We purchased land at Queensway Park Farm, built a brand-new purpose-built facility, and never stopped repairing vehicles throughout, including turning around 50 fleet vehicles in three extraordinary days.
In December 2025, we received Hyundai manufacturer approval. Our BS10125 audits in 2024, 2025 and 2026 all returned zero non-conformances, with structural aluminium now in our audited scope. This is what commitment looks like.

Why Stanways
Opened 2024 at Queensway Park Farm, designed from the ground up for modern vehicle repair including EVs, ADAS calibration and long-wheelbase commercial vehicles.

We have an IMI Level 4 qualified EV technician, the highest IMI tier for electric and hybrid work, so we can carry out high-voltage repairs many bodyshops have to turn away, including battery isolation, removal and refit.

With one month’s notice to leave our old premises in November 2023, we bought land, built a facility from the ground up, and never stopped working. This is our journey.
When we took over the Stanways name in 2017 we inherited a proud 50-year legacy. From this workshop we built our reputation, BS10125 certified, growing team, growing client base. But we always knew we needed more space to deliver the standard we demanded.
Then
With just 30 days to vacate our premises we faced a choice, find a new unit, or build our own. We chose to build. We purchased land at Queensway Park Farm and broke ground immediately. We never missed a single repair throughout.
The Old Site
Every square metre designed specifically for modern vehicle repair. The steel frame went up, floors were poured, spray booths installed. While the build was underway, the team continued repairing vehicles, including 50 fleet vehicles turned around in three extraordinary days.

The distinctive dark steel cladding that defines our new facility taking shape at Queensway Park Farm. Designed to accommodate long-wheelbase commercial vehicles, EV-safe infrastructure, and dual Rowley spray booths from day one.
